Basil has a number of mounting solutions depending on what basket or bag you choose. The variety of options are listed below.

Hooks

This is a very simple system and a favourite. Hooks on the back of the bags 'hook' over the edge of the rack. This makes it a very quick on/off system.

Solen-System

A suspension system that consists of slidable hooks which 6-16mm tubes, a locking button, lock and a unique 'rail-disk-system'. The 'disk' is mounted on the luggage carrier stay, the rail which is mounted on the bottom of the bag fits the 'disk' preventing the bag from swinging (patent pending)!

Straps

A webbing system is used to mount and secure the bags. Universal and easy to use.

BasSolid-System

The BasSolid has been designed in such a way that it is adjustable in width, suits 6-20mm tube diameters and even fits tapering carriers with heightened backs. The system is pre-mounted and needs to be adjusted to the carrier width only once. A smartly designed handle activates a clever lever mechanism which allows the baskets to be clipped to a carrier quickly, firmly and 'blindly'. In addition, the system is provided with a lock.

BasEasy-system II

The BasEasy-system is a click-system for removable baskets and bags. A holder is attached to the steering stem with which the basket can be easily and quickly clicked on and off with the quick release system. Comes standard with a 20-25mm stainless steel band for the handlebar stem. If this fitting is not suitable for your bike, please see below for adaptors to fit.  Maximum load is 5kg.

BasEasy-system II Adaptors

The "30-35mm Stainless Steel Band" adaptor (BB 70111) is used for bicycles that feature the "Aheadset" type headset common on mountain and flat bar road bikes. Needs at least 4cm room on the spacers for adaptor to fit. RRP = $12.95
